Complaints procedure
The editorial board of the scientific journal "Zvyazok" provides a transparent, impartial, and confidential procedure for reviewing complaints regarding possible violations of academic integrity and publication ethics, guided by the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Complaint review procedure:
- The complaint is registered by the editorial office and forwarded to the editor-in-chief or responsible person for consideration.
- A preliminary analysis of the validity of the complaint and the presence of grounds for further consideration is carried out.
- If necessary, a commission of members of the editorial board is created or independent experts are involved.
- A request is sent to the author (or reviewer) to provide clarification regarding the substance of the complaint.
- Based on the results of the review, the editorial board makes an appropriate decision.
Based on the results of the complaint review, the editorial office may:
- to leave the complaint unsatisfied;
- require the author to make corrections;
- reject the article at the review stage;
- to withdraw an already published article;
- notify the relevant scientific or educational institutions.
The term for considering a complaint is up to 30 calendar days from the date of its receipt. In complex cases, the term may be extended with mandatory notification to the applicant.
