Abstract

This article explores the technical characteristics of the LoRaWan network. In the course of the study, we highlighted and suggested which of the parameters need to be modified to improve the operation of this technology, increase transmission speed, and reduce packet error rates in the presence of short interference. The main advantages and disadvantages of LoRaWan technology are discussed. Changing the settings will allow you to work more efficiently. LoRaWAN technology is focused on applications that require the guaranteed transfer of small amount of data, the possibility of long-term operation of network devices from standalone power sources, large territorial coverage of the wireless network.
