Quality analysis method of management system the next generation network functionality based on informationentropical characteristics

In this article, the concepts of construction of the next generation networks are considered. The basic requirements for such networks and their management systems are defined. Particular attention is paid to minimizing the response time of the management system to network events, delimitation mechanisms for detecting and preventing network failures, minimizing the load generated by traffic management, providing the user with the required services with a given quality, improving the efficiency of the telecommunications operator as a business sub-object. The control information transmission network is analyzed from a probabilistic point of view as a system that is in a certain state at a specific point in time. A method for analyzing the reliability and survivability of a next-generation network management system is proposed, which is based on estimating the entropy of a network as its state changes. The entropy of the system determines in a working and inoperable state. The conditional probability transition matrix of the system from state to state is used and the entropy calculation algorithm is determined using the example of a network fragment. The proposed method allows us to evaluate the nature of the change in the state of the system from the point of view of their intentionality. If events develop according to the worst-case scenario for the network, then with a fairly large part of the probability, a deliberate effect on the network can be assumed. Also, this method can be used to analyze attacks on Internet resources. Analysis of the probability and entropy of the state tree showed that the less entropy of the «path» of state change, the less destructive the system (in our case, the network of control information transmission) is subjected to, and the less the overall entropy of the network changes.
