Abstract

Wireless data networks play an important role in human life today. They fill more and more niches in our life and are used primarily for Internet access, as well as for transmitting sound and video from cameras and microphones, weather data for forecasting, and is actively used in security systems, payment terminals, ATMs. The list can be continued for a long time. With the development of infrastructure and, accordingly, the number of subscribers, the question of quality and uninterrupted access to the network becomes acute. How to ensure uninterrupted and stable communication within the city? The solution can be wireless networks based on Mesh technology. Information networks organized by Mesh topology have received great recognition over the past years. Projects have grown to thousands of access points and tens of thousands of users. Mesh networks represent the most interesting solutions, integrating into various network and radio technologies, and therefore fully comply with the increased requirements of subscribers (mobility, QoS, security).
