Principles of building control systems in the future networks
DOI №______
Abstract
The methods of maintenance are analyzed: preventive, restorative and statistical. Each of them has certain advantages and disadvantages to others, so different combination of methods is used. However, due to increased reliability, the statistical service method is increasingly gaining strength in modern networks. Taking into account that definition of monitoring and diagnostic processes is based on the notion of technical condition, the notion of technical condition concerning networks of the future is considered. The following possible conditions of the network are analyzed: serviceability is characterized by the presence of all working cumulative routes; malfunction – refused at least one connection; performance is characterized by the presence of all the pairs of correspondent users of workable sets of paths; disability – refuses at least one set of paths. The state of the network, in which there is at least one usable connection between the users that correspond at the given time, is the state of the network’s malfunctioning. When designing a network for the future developer must take into account the state of the network, both from the positions of service personnel, and from the position of users.
